Joining Hands to Cultivate Talent, Building the Future Together: Shandong University of Science and Technology and Qingdao Aobo Tech Successfully Hosted a Corporate Visit and Summer Internship Program

To deepen university-enterprise collaboration and attract outstanding talent, On August 21, Shandong University of Science and Technology's School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering invited Chen Meng, Party Secretary; Fan Yuhua, Director of Student Affairs Office (Secretary of Youth League Committee); along with counselors Song Kuo and Ma Wenhao to lead representatives of the Class of 2026 undergraduate graduates to Qingdao Aobo Technology Automation Co., Ltd. for an enterprise visit, job exploration, and summer employment practice activity. This event aimed to further promote industry-academia-research integration through on-site tours, technical exchanges, and job matching.

During the visit, the delegation toured Aobo Tech's production facilities and R&D center, gaining detailed insights into the company's manufacturing processes, technological innovations, and product applications. Yang Shaoxian, General Manager of Qingdao Aobo Tech Automation, presented the company's latest achievements in industrial automation and smart manufacturing alongside its developmental history. Chen Hui, General Manager of Qingdao Aobang Measuring Instruments, systematically introduced the Aobang corporate culture, encouraging graduates to set reasonable career development goals and leverage professional platforms for continuous growth. Chen Meng provided an overview of the university's development, the college's specialized programs, and talent cultivation initiatives. He expressed hope to establish a long-term, stable exchange and cooperation mechanism with the company to jointly cultivate more outstanding industry talent, achieving complementary strengths and mutual development.

Corporate alumni representatives—Li Feng (Class of 2019) and Jiang Dehong (Class of 2022) from Shandong University of Science and Technology—shared their job-seeking experiences and valuable insights with younger students, emphasizing the importance of cultivating self-directed learning skills during their academic years. Students actively raised questions about points of interest and confusion during the tour, receiving detailed responses from corporate representatives. Following the symposium, graduates interested in employment proactively submitted their resumes to the companies.
